Meet Katherine
Our Host & Local Guide. Katherine knows all of the best hikes, restaurants, and secret spots for us to explore and enjoy. Katherine is also a certified yoga instructor and will lead those who are interested in yoga and meditation practices. Katherine has a passion for cooking and will make us healthy nourishing delicious meals.
Meet Melinda
That’s me! I am your art instructor. Learn how to paint beautiful landscapes in a beautiful setting. With a few other fun surprises. I have been teaching art classes for 8 years and I am excited to share my techniques and best practices in this intimate setting. I specialize in mixed media, acrylics, and watercolor. I love to paint flowers and landscapes.
Accommodations
The House of Butterflies is a 125 year old remote mountain cabin in Soca Valley Slovenia. When you arrive you are immediately surrounded by the beauty of nature. The cabin features a kitchen, living area, 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. Your bedroom includes 3 twin sized beds, a large closet and beautiful mountain views (see photos). The 3rd floor features a relaxing yoga and meditation studio. Watch the sunrise as you practice sun salutations.

This is very fluid depending on the desires of the group. If you have a preference for something to be added please let us know.
Refund Policy
We understand life happens. You are eligible for a 100% refund until 10 April. If you need to cancel after 10 April you will receive a 50% refund until 26 April. Unfortunately after 26 April we will not be able to issue a refund.
We have already started getting things ready to make this a great retreat. In the event of adverse weather that would make the retreat unsafe you will receive a full refund.
