Being a tropical island Okinawa is covered in hibiscus flowers. This piece was inspired by a photo I took at Uruma Farm. Hibiscus flowers have been popping up over and over. When certain symbols or inspiration continue to enter my life I take that as a sign from the universe. I researched the meaning of hibiscus and these flowers represent femininity.
